| Our Education Program has expanded! |
For the 2007-2008 school year, we are working on three educational programs in Chelsea schools.
Our program at The Clinton School for Writers and Artists now includes two separate projects, both school-day and after school programs, reaching a much larger 'slice' of the student body.
The third project takes place at The Liberty High School Academy our newest partner in education. The Liberty School is a Bilingual/English as Second Language (ESL) school that meets the special needs of newly arrived non-English speaking immigrant students. Our program works with an ESL class during the school day for one session each week. The project focuses on developing the students' basic skills and exposure to art, as well as their ability to communicate and talk about art in English.
Check the "Projects" section soon for updates, photos, and images of their artwork and experiences. |
